It is now practical to carry self defence weapons
because the world is becoming less and less safe to live in for everyone. You can even get shot or injured within the confines of your own home. As the world evolves further into sophistication with all the advancement in science and technology, humanity falls prey on its own trap and deteriorates into nothing short of beasts capable of attacking each other. The evidence is prominently aired on TV and reported on newspapers. People get killed helplessly or robbed on the streets or in their home. No one is immune to these dangers and the worst thing is that it can happen to anyone, anytime.
Defend yourself at all times by having self defence weapons within your reach.
This does not mean that you prominently display your gun or knife because you don’t want to intimidate anyone or send the wrong impression. Unless you have a license to carry a gun, you cannot use them to be self defence weapons for your protection.
There are different self defence weapons that you can utilize for defense aside from a gun. Unlike a gun, they are less prominent in nature, but they can equally injure anyone who assaults you. You can tuck them inside your bag or hide them under your glove compartment or drawers or stow them under the bed. The most important thing is that you are able to conceal self defence weapons from prying eyes but can immediately grab use of them when the need calls for it.
Anything, no matter how small, as long as it is capable of injuring someone, passes for a weapon. You can find such self defence weapons in your home especially in your kitchen or garage. Take that cleaning kit you use for your fingernails and toenails. A simple nail pusher may look unsuspecting but it can slash any throat open if anyone jumps on you. The beauty of this kind of self defence weapons is that you can carry them with you because they are usually small. When anyone sees them, they don’t appear immediately as weapons so you can keep them close to you without getting arrested.
There are different laws governing concealed self defence weapons
and they vary from state to state, country to country. Likewise, what constitutes as a weapon also differs from each state or country and some maybe stringent in imposing the rules. You need to have a permit to carry such weapons legally. If they find them in your possession without it, expect to deal the legal ramifications of failing to do so.
Small things like a ballpen and tools like a wrench can be carried around without as much legal requirements as those self defence weapons defined under the law. They are more convenient than a knife or a baseball bat.
You must be at least 18 years old or 21 to be issued a carry permit for self defence weapons. If you are not yet of legal age, you can always use other things available at home to be used as alternative self defence weapons so that you can protect yourself without breaking a carry permit law.
